History

The social enterprise was started with prize money from a hackathon competition by The Arthur Guinness Fund. The task was to create a startup that would provide income for marginalized women. The business was set up in 2013 as Design Up Asia and re-branded in 2017 as Boheme Style Nomads. Our social mission to help women remains the same!

About Founders

Kim

Co-founder Kim is a published writer and community activist. Kim volunteers her time by liaising with Family Services Centre's, overseeing training of volunteers, outreach events and assisting the ladies we work with in self development and life skills.

Anisa

Co-founder Anisa has worked in the fashion industry for over 15 years. Anisa volunteers her time by developing products, training the women to make the jewellery, managing pop up events and marketing communications.
